Customized Compound Solutions A/S (CCS) combines technologies from leading raw material suppliers and partners of Bjørn Thorsen A/S (BT), with the aim to provide customized compound solutions.

With the expertise of BT in specialty elastomers, its knowledge of the market and in close cooperation with customers, we aim to be recognized as a company bringing fast solutions to the plastic market.

We believe that the development should be inexpensive, fast, cooperative, and based on learning, knowledge, trial and error, and we aim to close gaps between existing products and technologies available on the market.

All Opti-Pren™ TPV products are manufactured in facilities that are ISO 9001 certified.

Opti-Pren® HFFR
A range of soft, colorable, halogen-free flame retardant thermoplastic elastomers.
Opti-Pren® HFFR products are highly flexible and have rubberlike, soft touch.
Main applications include low voltage cable insulation and jacketing, communication and data cables.
Opti-Pren® HFFR 7350 are specifically modified to show improved flow properties for easier extrusion and thinner wall thickness.

High temperature requirements can be achieved by further crosslinking Opti-Pren HFFR series.

Opti-Pren HFFR 7300-82 is classified according to EN 45545-2:2013 + A1:2015, requirement set R22 and R23; Hazard Levels HL1, HL2 & HL3

Opti-Pren® TPV HT
A range of soft, colourable, specialty TPVs.
These Thermoplastic Vulcanizates have been designed to show higher tensile properties, tear strength and superior abrasion resistance compared to standard, equally soft TPVs.
There are two product lines: Opti-Pren® TPV HT and Opti-Pren® TPV HT LOC. The LOC version has been especially formulated to avoid oil exsudation over time.

The colour matching is adjusted batch to batch to keep a high colour accuracy (Delta Ecmc <0,7)

Additional features can be extra UV resistance, low surface friction, copper stabilization, etc...
